New Showroom Now Open

Stanley Green HIC deals with  roof and garage conversions, block paving projects and business is so brisk that Head of the family run business, Dan Kelly,  is looking to expand it nationwide. He says:” We started out in Cheadle, and have just moved into premises that we had been wanting for awhile. “The offices have a showroom, where people can come in and discuss their needs and requirements. We prepare CAD drawings so that they can see what a pitch roof looks like on a flat roof. “We take a photograph of the property, bring it back to the office and put it into our computer system. We are then able to show how a roof would look on the property, so people can see the end result before they buy the service. “There are lots of different styles, although all the roofs are traditional, while being tailor made to suit each customer’s preferences and requirements. They are all made to blend in with the property. “If any planning permissions or building regulations with the local authority have to be sought, we do all that for the customer. And the installation usually takes under seven days, so the customer sees the results very quickly.” The work is all done by qualified tradesmen and is guaranteed for 10 years with an insurance back 10-year guarantee.

The showroom is a nice, relaxing area, where customers can take their time in choosing what they want. Says Dan:” Things are very busy on the garage conversion side of the business as well. More and more people are finding that they don’t actually use their garage for their cars. “Within 10 days we can usually convert this space into an extra room that can be used for whatever they require – study, home office, playroom or bedroom, for example.” The total number of staff at the firm is 14, with Dan’s wife Susan working in administration and daughter Nicola on the sales side of the business.
